Lauren Peters is a physiotherapist with a strong interest in sporting injuries, lower limb rehabilitation, lower back pain, women’s musculoskeletal health and vestibular rehabilitation. She graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2021.
Lauren’s passion for physiotherapy grew directly out of her own competitive sporting background — sprint and marathon kayaking, AFL, netball and athletics. She experienced firsthand how physiotherapy can support both recovery and performance, which shapes how she approaches every patient.
She has also worked on the sidelines of soccer, AFL and rugby, further developing her practical skills in acute injury assessment and return-to-sport management.
Lauren takes a holistic, patient-centred approach that considers the whole person — not just the injury. She looks at movement patterns, lifestyle, contributing factors and the patient’s goals to create realistic, personalised rehabilitation plans.
Her treatment combines hands-on physiotherapy with exercise rehabilitation, strength retraining and Clinical Pilates. She believes that long-term outcomes require more than pain relief — patients need to develop the strength, confidence and movement quality to stay injury-free.
Lauren has a particular interest in helping patients understand not just what to do, but why — so they develop genuine self-management skills.
Clinical Pilates is prescribed by a physiotherapist and tailored specifically to your injury and rehabilitation needs. It focuses on movement quality, core control and stability — building the foundation that gym-based training sits on.
Lauren gets the best results with motivated patients who are committed to an active rehabilitation approach and want to understand the reasoning behind their program.
