Daniel Boeren is a physiotherapist with a distinctive dual background — a Bachelor of Osteopathy from Southern Cross University, followed by a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland. This combination gives him a strong foundation in manual therapy alongside a well-developed strength-based approach to rehabilitation.
Before entering physiotherapy, Daniel worked as a personal trainer and in the NDIS sector, supporting people with disability to improve their independence, confidence and quality of life. This background shapes his patient-centred approach and his ability to connect with a wide range of people.
Daniel works from both the Pottsville and Cabarita clinics, with a particular interest in neck conditions, upper limb injuries, and helping active people return to training, surfing and everyday life with confidence.
Daniel’s treatment is built on the understanding that pain is influenced by multiple factors — strength, movement patterns, load, recovery, lifestyle and nervous system sensitivity. His dual osteopathy and physiotherapy background gives him a broader toolkit than most, blending manual therapy with progressive strength-based rehabilitation.
He prioritises hands-on treatment early to settle symptoms and restore movement, then transitions progressively to exercise-based rehabilitation to build resilience and reduce the likelihood of recurrence. His NDIS and personal training background means he is comfortable adapting programs to suit a very wide range of patients.
