For almost 30 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people move better, feel better, and live without pain.
I graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Queensland in 1997, and since then I’ve helped thousands of people overcome persistent headaches, migraine, jaw pain and neck pain. These conditions can be incredibly debilitating — and I understand that not just professionally, but personally. My lived experience gives me genuine empathy for how much chronic head and neck pain can impact work, sleep, mood, and family life.
Over the years, I’ve developed a special interest in complex headache, migraine, jaw and neck disorders, alongside a deep fascination with the nervous system and how stress influences pain. I am particularly interested in the way the brain, cervical spine, jaw and autonomic nervous system interact.
I have undertaken postgraduate training through the Watson Headache® Institute and continue to refine my skills in the assessment and treatment of complex headache and migraine presentations. I take a thorough, evidence-informed approach that considers not just the joints and muscles, but the nervous system as a whole. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone regain clarity, energy and confidence when their pain finally settles.
I am also Clinical Pilates qualified and oversee the Pilates program at Pottsville and Cabarita Physiotherapy. I strongly believe that effective treatment goes beyond symptom relief — we address the underlying drivers of pain and build strength, control and resilience to prevent recurrence. Combining hands-on physiotherapy with targeted Pilates-based rehabilitation allows me to create truly individualised treatment pathways for people from all walks of life.
I am a proud member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association
Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find me surfing, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, tending to my vegetable garden, or my favourite role of all: spending time with my kids.
