Staff profiles

Daniel and Melissa Macdonald are the Principles at Pottsville Physiotherapy.

All of our Physiotherapists are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and are Work Cover, Medicare and the Department of Veteran Affairs approved.

All of our female Physiotherapists have completed additional training in Women’s Health are qualified to treat a range of conditions including pelvic floor disorders and incontinence.

Mary Bollard and Jess Harris are the receptionists at Pottsville Physiotherapy.

DANIEL MACDONALD B. Phty, M. PHTY (Sports)
Sports Physiotherapist

Daniel is an APA titled Sports Physiotherapist and partner at Pottsville Physiotherapy. He graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Queensland in 1998 and completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2009. He is also a member of Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Daniel has extensive experience in private practice and with sporting teams both locally and overseas. He enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions with a progressive approach to ensure optimal recovery. Daniel has a special interest in shoulder pain in overhead athletic sports. Dan’s interests include surfing and tennis.

MELISSA MACDONALD B. Phty
Graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Queensland in 1997. Melissa has extensive experience both locally and overseas. Melissa has a special interest and has done additional training in Headaches, Spinal Pain (neck and back), Clinical Pilates and Women’s Health (including pregnancy, pelvic pain and incontinence). Melissa is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and the Australian Continence Foundation. Melissa’s interests include stand up paddle boarding, gardening, cooking and spending time with her kids at the beach.

SUE VACHER B. Phty, M. Phty (Animal)
Sue graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000. Sue completed her Masters in Animal Physiotherapy in 2007. Sue has special interests in Acupuncture, Clinical Pilates and Women’s health. Sue’s interests include horses and dancing.

 

 

Matt Dowling
Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2007. Matt has special interests in clinical Pilates and treating sporting related injuries and sports performance enhancement.

Matt’s hobbies include surfing, triathalons, and travelling.
