Daniel and Melissa Macdonald are the Principles at Pottsville Physiotherapy.
All of our Physiotherapists are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and are Work Cover, Medicare and the Department of Veteran Affairs approved.
All of our female Physiotherapists have completed additional training in Women’s Health are qualified to treat a range of conditions including pelvic floor disorders and incontinence.
Mary Bollard and Jess Harris are the receptionists at Pottsville Physiotherapy.

Daniel is an APA titled Sports Physiotherapist and partner at Pottsville Physiotherapy. He graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Queensland in 1998 and completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2009. He is also a member of Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Daniel has extensive experience in private practice and with sporting teams both locally and overseas. He enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions with a progressive approach to ensure optimal recovery. Daniel has a special interest in shoulder pain in overhead athletic sports.
Graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Queensland in 1997. Melissa has extensive experience both locally and overseas. Melissa has a special interest and has done additional training in Spinal Pain (neck and back), Clinical Pilates and Women’s Health (including pregnancy, pelvic pain and incontinence). Melissa is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Business Association and the Australian Continence Foundation.
Sue graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000. Sue completed her Masters in Animal Physiotherapy in 2007. Sue has special interests in Acupuncture, Clinical Pilates and Women's health. She is experienced in managing chronic pain, whiplash and headaches.
Susan graduated as a Physiotherapist from University of Queensland in 1998. Susan completed her Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy in 2007 and became qualified Pilates Instructor in 2005. She has a special interest in Sports Physio and Clinical Pilates.
Matthew is an APA titled Sports Physiotherapist and partner at Active Life Physiotherapy. He graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Queensland in 1998 and completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2009. He is also a member of Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Matt has extensive private practice experience having worked locally as well as in the U.S.A. and U.K. He has worked with active people and athletes at all levels and ages, from local juniors and weekend warriers to national and international level and most recently with the Gold Coast United A league Soccer Club. This experience provides him with the most up to date expertise in the management of aches and pains, not just in athletes but people of all ages.
Mary is our front desk manager.
She ensures Pottsville Physio runs in a smooth and efficient manner. Her friendly nature will make you feel at home and she will help you with any of your enquiries.
Jess assists Mary on reception. When she is not here, Jess puts all of her efforts into her degree in eco-architecture.
